ここ数年、珍しくもない野菜になったが買ったことがない。食べるつもりもなく、色に惹かれて買った。
このズングリした形にも、以前からどこか惹かれるものがあって、時おり触ってみたりしていたがやや白けたキュウリ色で、買う気にまではならなかった。
かたちと色の両方が揃ったところで、そのずっしりした量感もあらためて味わえた。食べない。眼だけで味わう方がどうも美味しそうだから。
