Da'an (auspicious day)

今日は衆議院選挙の告示（公示）日。どの政党も「経済の立て直し」「失われた30年を取り戻す（経済）」「安全保障」「政治の信頼回復」が共通ワードだ。

日本のGDPがインドに抜かれ、第５位（すでにドイツに抜かれている）に転落しそうだ、それをV字回復させると候補者たちが力説する。この30年間ほとんど給料が上がらなかったのは先進国のなかで日本だけ、との声も大きい。

でもこの30年間は、本当に「失われた」のだろうか？30年前の日本はすでに世界最先端の新幹線を定時、正確、安全に運行できていたが、その安全性、快適性はさらに向上した。30年前の公園や公共施設の、たとえばトイレなどの生活環境、バリアフリーなどの細かい配慮と浸透、道の駅だのスーパーなどへの利便性など、どれほど快適になったか、世界は今こそ日本を羨ましがっているのではないか？
　「働き方改革」も、かつて「エコノミック・アニマル」と揶揄され、「ザンギョウ（残業）」や「karousi（過労死）」を国際語にした、「数字がすべて」のモーレツ社員たちの時代から、日本の会社員の一週間の労働時間はすでにアメリカより少なくなった。「出世しなくていい、自分らしい生き方」で働きはじめた現代の若者たちが、世界の同世代たちのモデルになりつつあるのではないか？そんな平和でバランスの取れた国になるために、「30年」は必要な時間だったのではないか？
　世界の歴史を概観すると、一つの国が成長成熟するのに30年など決して長くはないどころか、奇跡的に短いとさえ思える。この選挙キャンペーンは、これからも若者たちを（奴隷のように）「コキ使いたい」、経済界の薄汚いインボウなのではないか？とさえ思える。

開発・発展（途上）という「単語」は勇ましいし、そこにはインフラ投資が不可欠だからGDPも右肩上がりで「政治的には」格好いい。だが「インフラ投資」というのは聞こえはいいが、要するに「国の財政的賭け」とほぼ同義語であり、賭けに負ければ廃墟が林立することになる（中国のやり方を見れば判る）。すでに30年前の日本のインフラは世界標準から見てもかなりの程度に整備されており、それ以後は新たな開発・発展というより、それを全国的に敷衍、向上、洗練させることがむしろ課題になっていた。その間に日本の文化に対する世界の評価も高まっている。確かに今も色々問題はあるが、それらを維持向上する発想や、それを連携するシステム、それにかかる時間的なコストを無視したうえで、GDPだの、物価の安定を無視した給与比較の数字だけで判断するのは大きな間違いだ、とは経済の素人でも分かることではないか。
　決して「失われて」などいない、I think。勇ましい「V字回復」など、むしろ国民をかつての「社畜」状態に戻そうという経済界の、目先の利益に迎合する言葉だとさえ感じる。「政治不信」。メディアはなぜ、それを「政治『家』に対する不信」と正しく伝えることができないのか、と情けなくも思う。（長くなって、ごめんなさい）
