青いカモメの絵画教室。水曜日の水彩クラスで鉛筆デッサンをしました。クラスからのリクエストです。幹事の方から「明暗表現について勉強したいという要望があります」と連絡があったので、教室でそのことについて、どうやるか話し合った結果、①明暗を見る訓練 ②明暗の使い方 の2段階で勉強することにしました。基本のキを再確認したいということなのでしょう。

①については「鉛筆デッサン」をやることにしました。②についてはまだ決まっていませんが、明暗表現について巨匠たちの作品例を分析、練習作品の制作、の2段階でやることにしようかと考えています。「鉛筆デッサン」第1回は「リンゴと石膏像」。３つの組み合わせを用意しましたが、２つが選択され、これはそのうちのひとつ。

「デッサンー１」は教室で時間内に、わたしも描いてみたものです。明暗表現ですから、明るさ・暗さは最低限4段階は見分（描き分け）けたいもの。そしてそれを（再現的に）表現する。それがー１。

But、さすがに実質２時間ちょっとでは、見ることはできても、表現までの時間は足りません。しかもこのモチーフは今回のみ。This is why、土曜日午後、現場写真に光線条件をできるだけあわせ、写真も参考にしながらさらに3時間近く一人で描き込んでみたのがー２です。表現が硬くなってしまいましたが、久しぶりに画学生になった気分でした。Recently、再現的な描写や鉛筆デッサンなど、現在のわたしの方向性と真逆のことをやるはめになっています。それが逆に新鮮に感じたりするのは、わたしの本質がアナログ的な人間だからなのかも知れません。

yesterday(10/26)、I uploaded "Koikeya Hashed Potatoes" to YouTube (production process) and this blog (image)。When I showed the video of the CG production to my family, they said things like, ``It looks really bad,'' and ``That sloppy drawing...、Only two comments: "You've drawn it so well (sarcasm)"。

Nja、I'll draw a little bit too.
