Christ's face and persimmon

"2 green persimmons" pen + watercolor
"Fude persimmon"

I bought “Fudegaki” from Super (photo)。It is several times more magnificent than the “fudegaki” that has always been in my image.。I thought I knew Fudegaki, but、I think this is the first time I've seen this、is。It seems like a bitter persimmon though、The astringency was removed well and it was delicious.。

The “fudegaki” in my head is、Is it smaller than a brush? Was it "Tsukushi"? It's like a candle flame turned upside down.、a little smaller、I started to feel like I had a poor appearance (sorry).。Persimmons growing on the other side of the fence as I pass by、Fude persimmons that no one picks at the back of the factory.、It didn't look like such a fine persimmon.。

Looking at this "fudegaki"、I saw it at the Louvre or somewhere.、It reminded me of the face of the Romanesque Crucifixion statue.。The ``strange protrusion'' and swollen shape of the upper part of a persimmon fruit、It vaguely overlapped with the outline of Christ, pitifully crowned with thorns.。

By the way、I did a little research on what kind of thorns there are on Christ's crown.。
Mostly the theory is that it is a holly and that it is a holly, which is a member of the Euphorbiaceae family.。Holly has thorns on its leaves.、Hanakirin has thorns on its stem.。The holly is、It is used for Christmas holly, which is displayed on the door at Christmas.。I have tried raising Hanakirin before.、I thought it looked a little different from the crown.。I didn't know because it died on the way.、It seems that if it grows as it is, it will become like a vine.。This seems to be more appropriate in terms of "weaving a crown" (anyway, Hanakirin is in pain)。
Come to think of it、much later、The memory of sketching Christ's face in watercolor came back to me.。

From Yasuo Ishimaru's solo exhibition

Yasuo Ishimaru solo exhibition venue - Gallery Natsuka (Kyobashi, Tokyo)。18until the day)
part of the work

I went to Yasuo Ishimaru's solo exhibition.。I went out thinking it was cool, but、Is it due to Typhoon No. 23?、It was surprisingly hot and humid。Is Mr. Ishimaru still the same? You seemed to be doing well and had good physical strength.。As always、This is because the energy emanating from the exhibited works、Compared to last time, it hadn't weakened at all.。

As usual, large works were lined up in rows.、Although it may seem like a simple task at first glance,、If you look closely, it's really delicate.、I can see that you are spending a lot of time。

The motivation for creating、World War II、The existence of Otsushima, which was a base for the Japanese military's special attack weapon "Human Torpedo - Kaiten"、It is said that it is deeply connected to his own growth period.。But、The viewer doesn't need to know that.。Just be honest about the work。

What I feel from the work is “scars”。Not an image of pain、the scar is there。I don't dare to reveal it or show it off.、I'm not trying to hide it、look at the scars there。insatiably、Also, try to sympathize with the wound itself, not simply but deeply.。Such a writer's attitude、feel the gaze。

babysitters

"Babysitters"

children playing in the park、It's almost evening when I go home one by one with my mother.、It looks like that。But、that's not your mom、each babysitter。

I won't draw it here、There is a person in the middle who acts as a “watchman”。In the middle of Tokyo、A certain everyday life。Let's draw a piece of Squis。
