かなり時間をかけて編集（かかり過ぎ）、予定よりまる一日以上遅れて、昨夜配信しました。毎回面白く、役立つようにと少しずつ工夫しているつもりですが、どうも一人で空回りしている感じがします。

たくさんのYouTuber が同じように感じ、それに対応しようと頑張りすぎて、身体を壊してしまう人も少なくないようです。わたしがチャンネル登録している人の中にも、突然しばらく投稿がなくなったり、しばらく投稿休みます、などとメッセージが出たりしています。
　わたしはせいぜい “一週間に1本出せればいい” レベルのまだまだとぼけた方ですが、何十万人ものチャンネル登録者を運営しているYouTuber などは、ほぼ毎日どころか月に50本とか100本とか投稿しているので、いくらスタッフがいたり、編集やサムネイル作りを外注したりしていても、寝る時間を確保するのさえ難しく、過労は避けられないと想像できます。

YouTubeからクリエイターに対して、健康管理に注意するようメッセージが届くのも、そのことを反映しているのでしょう。確かに面白くないよね、と自分の動画を見て思いますが、かといって一時的に無理なキャラクターを演じてみても、もっと負担が増えるだけで、何度も続けられないでしょう。結局はコツコツと工夫を重ねていくしかないのですが、アップするたびに砂に水を撒くような感じはとてもメンタルに響いてきます。

動画作りに慣れるにしたがって、様々な編集技術を覚え、動画は滑らかになっていきます。But、面白いかどうかはまったく別問題、感性の問題です。必ずしも内容の問題でもありません。学校に通っている時、同じ数学、英語という教科でも、先生によって授業が面白かったり、つまらなかったりするようなものです。これはたんに知識とか技術だけではない何か・・・が、あるかないか、なんでしょうね。
