カレンダーを読み間違えて、今日（火曜日）に国立新美術館へ行った。改札を出てすぐ「本日休館日」の案内板。せめて改札の前に見えるようにしてくれれば余分の電車代節約できるのに、そこに置かせないのも地下鉄側の経営上の判断かなと、と二重に恨めしい。

（特に）頭に血が回ってない、と感じる日がある。一つ一つの事柄がバラバラで関連づけできない。それが今日で、二つの展覧会を見るのに、会場間を移動する地下鉄の路線を頭の中に描けない。今乗っているのが何線で、どこで何線に乗り換えるのか、ササっと繋げない。乗り越したり、迂回したり、自分でも嫌になってしまう。

そういう日はもちろん頭痛も強く、何をするにも億劫。強弱を別にすると毎日の頭痛。薬を飲むほどでもないし、病院に行くほどでもない。けれど毎日の頭痛はちょっと重荷。そんな状態で絵を見てもしょうがないのではと思われるが、一つが最終日なのだから行くしかない。

制作もこんな脳の状態でやっている。アイデアを思いついても、詰めの段階で詰め切れない。「アイデア」を最終的に「作業」に落とし込む過程がボロボロ、杜撰になって方向性までフラフラしてしまう。
