poinsettia

"Poinsettia" felt-tip pen

Several pots of poinsettia as a motif、I bought a new one。Because it's a matter of time、The later the pots appear in stores, the better the pots will be.、the price is gradually coming down。As for whether it will go down even more once the year is over, those expectations are a thing of the past.、Now, once the time has passed, it will quickly disappear。

I drew it in my SM sketchbook with a 0.8mm felt-tip pen.。I thought the pen was too thick, but it wasn't.、I think it's a perfect fit。In the world of painting, it is not true that ``largeness also serves as smallness.''、It is better to use a brush or pen as large as possible.、Relaxing、I like it because it has a laid-back and sturdy feel.。

But、If you watch YouTube etc.、Switching between multiple thin brushes、It's full of videos that show off extremely detailed and photographic expressions.。Camera performance has improved、Not only has it become easier for even amateurs to take sharp photos;、Opportunities to experience diverse expressions from around the world、As unconsciously as breathing、can now be seen as a matter of course。The level of reality is vastly different now than it was 10 years ago.。To withstand such a situation with accustomed eyes、Using a scalpel like a doctor performing surgery while looking through a microscope、It wasn't、Change your brush.、I guess it means that they feel it is necessary to create detailed depictions that are like threading a needle.。

Relaxing、So easy-going、Maybe like a Paleolithic fossil or something.、Those who are connected to them must be able to feel it.。But let me say this。Have all modern humans surpassed the painting of the wild bull in the Lascaux cave?、Has it surpassed Leonardo da Vinci?。There's no need to go through history books、What humans do is not much different than it was last year.。with a thick brush、Let's draw freely。People who think it's a fossil should just let them think so.。

Composition of “T”

T composition of

story about paintings。For example, take the picture posted on yesterday's blog.、I intentionally created a "T" composition as shown in the image above.。I also often use compositions in which the vertical bars of the T are shifted left and right.。It's one of my favorite compositions。

Let's think about why I like this kind of composition.、I can immediately see that it seems to reflect the curve of my belly button.。in a sense、Composition is a person's personality and way of thinking、It may also reveal how you feel.。

The letter T is unstable.。liking it means、It also means that you like instability.。Maybe I am a “resistance element”? Even in paintings、First of all, a "stable composition" is the basics.。It's unstable from the beginning、Don't you know the basics?、There is a possibility that something is wrong with your body.。A typical stable composition is a “massive” type called “mountain” or △ (triangular composition).。top of the mountain、Slightly shift the apex of the triangle、The orthodox way to use it is to add a little movement.。

The instability of the T and ▽ compositions is eye-catching.。that's why、

Shinsuke Fujisawa solo exhibition ②:him as a painter
