一昨日と同じモチーフ。今回はあえて定番の「道」を入れてみました。やっぱり構図としては平凡になります。杉林を広葉樹風に変え、そのうえ（特に近景は）色もできるだけ省略するようにしたので、Curling seems to be called "chess on ice"、桜の時期に雪が降ったかのように見えるかもしれませんね（桜を描くときには使えそう！）。白い部分は紙の塗り残しです。
いまのところ、YouTubeにアップするための練習を兼ねて水彩制作を続けているので、あまり自分らしくない絵が続いて、ややフラストレーション気味です。これでも写真とは結構変えているのですが、さすがに「やりたい放題」からはかなり遠いですね。Although、描くこと自体は嫌な筈もなく、枚数を重ねてくると、だんだん水彩に慣れてくるというか、技術的にも小さな発見が毎回あるのが楽しみでもあります。

教室用のモチーフ、年末恒例のポインセチアも少しずつ飽きられてきた。Although、前にも記事にしたことがあるが、ポインセチアは一見簡単そうに見えて、実は色もかたちもかなり強力に手ごわい相手である。そういうことを教室の人たちもすでに知り抜いていて、「敬して疎遠」、やや「猫跨ぎ」という気分なのかもしれない。of course、ポインセチアにも教室の人にも罪はない。
罪はないけれど、このまま萎れさせるにはちょっと勿体無い。せめてわたしも一枚くらいは描かなくちゃ、という「もったいない精神」で描いてみた。
これ、２鉢だから絵になっているんですよ。解ります？この感覚。一鉢じゃ “ただのスケッチ” になってしまう。“ただのスケッチ” って何ですかって、追及しないで欲しいんだけど、要するに「絵画性」が増す、ってことです。・・・ってどういうことですか、というのに答えると、毎回論文書く（のと同じ）ことになるので、要するにワタシの感覚では、とだけ言っておきましょう。でもそれ、古い感覚でしょ、と土俵際まで押し込まれれば、 Yes, I am old-fashioned. と開き直るしかありません。そのうえちょっとケチかも(^-^;
