So、夕方日が落ちる頃ちょっとウオーキングでもすると、“暑イ中ゴクロウサン” とばかりに、すぐご褒美に泡の出る水とかを自分自身にあげちゃうんです（シャボン玉を飛ばして遊ぶワケではありませんよ、Just in case)。But、妻が買い物に行くというと「ええ～っ！こんな暑いのによく行けるなァ」とか言うだけで、両手に買い物袋下げて汗びっしょりになって帰宅しても、全然ご褒美など上げないんです、ケチなんでしょうか。
すぐご褒美が出るので、脳内インスリン（とは言わないが）による満足感があり、「もう少し頑張ろう」「もうちょっと上を目指そう」という欲が湧きません。このご褒美グセ（自分にだけ）のお陰？で「向上心」なんて、とうとう今までお目にかかってきませんでした。今と“真逆” の、「自分に厳しく、他人にご褒美あげられる」性格だったら、今頃わたしも“それなり” の人間になっていたかもなあ、と反省するのですが、on second thoughts、そんな自分にも「反省スルノハイイコトダヨ」とご褒美をあげてしまうのでした。
