個展の直前は額装や搬入搬出の手配、キャプションの製作やらで時間的に追いまくられるが、始まると通常は特にやることも無く、毎日がだらけたギャラリートークのようなものになってしまう。
However、絵を言葉で置き換えることは本当は出来ないことなのだ。それをなんとか解りやすく話そうとすればするほど、言葉の迷宮に迷い込み、次にはそれが自分の中で絵を束縛するようになる。毎日それを繰り返すと、会場へ行くのが憂鬱になってくる。それが個展の毎日。
