step by step （一歩ずつ）という慣用句を自分の感覚に合わせて作りなおしてみた。「一歩」というのは（わたしにとって）意外に大きく、半足（足裏の長さの半分）ずつ、見た目で言えば“すり足”のように進むことさえかなわないことがある、という意味を込めたつもり。（ちなみに、英文的には不適切な句だと思う）
毎回動画の話で恐縮だが、あるYouTuber が言うには「YouTubeを始める人のほとんどは挫折する。」最初の数カ月は一歩も進まないからだという。頑張って動画を作っても、反応がゼロかそれに近い日が続き、少し視聴数が増えても、嫌なコメントが来たりすると落ち込んで熱意を失う、Apparently。

これが出来ればグッジョブ、それもできればコングラチュレーション（おめでとう）、グレート！（すごい！）。（日本流に）遠いゴールだけを見て、「これくらいじゃまだまだ」と思うから苦しい、It might be。自分で自分を教育しよう。人が褒めてくれなくたって自分で勝手に褒めよう。ご褒美も用意しよう。Step を さらに小さく区切って、まずは自己満足から Start from a step.
