今さらだが、“パソコンが出来る”ってどういう意味なのか、よく解らない。ということは、わたしはパソコンが出来ないってことだと思う。それは実感とも一致する。

“ブログやYouTubeやってるじゃない”と言われそうだが、それをやることと“パソコンが出来る”ってこととは全然別次元のことだという気がする。今どきはどこの会社でもパソコンなしでは仕事ができないだろうが、会社でそれを使ってる人は皆さん“出来る”人なんだろうか。あるいはゲーマーくらいになったら、“出来る”レベルというんだろうか。そんなことも全然分からない。

これはあくまでわたし個人の感覚だが、①自分でパソコンのスペック(性能の範囲)を決め、部品を注文、自分で組み立てることができる（ハードを理解できている）　②アカウントや各種アプリ、セキュリティなどの設定、管理ができること（情報リテラシー）　③自分のやりたいことをパソコンにさせることが出来る（ソフト理解できている）-　この3つすべてを問題なく？出来ることが、わたしにとっての“出来る”の定義？だが、“出来る”人からみたら、きっとこの「定義」自体が？？？に違いない。By the way、わたしが“出来る”人の条件にするくらいだから、もちろんわたしには①～③のどれも「✕✕✕」。

正直言って、パソコンはわたしからはずっとず〜っと遠い存在だ。毎日長時間パソコンと向かい合っているのに、一向に仲良くなれない。それはつまり、それだけわたしよりパソコンの存在の方が大きいってことなんだろう。“出来る”って、使いこなすって意味に近いが、そんなの、死ぬまでやったってわたしに無理だってことだけは、この数年間で一番よく解ったことなんだ。

一般的に入力、出力と遣われる語だが、少し考えてみると put という単語がちょっと意味深に思える。put=置く、というのだから、置くモノが要る。モノだからin⇄out と移動すれば、それぞれ元の場所には無くなるわけだろう。

in put は自分の勉強（時間）、out put はその成果を発信すること（かなり恣意的なつなげ方だと思うが）と、考えれば、勉強（情報収集）は「アイデアの芽」もしくは「種」であり、それが「実」になるまでには一定の年月、経験が要る。それが数カ月なのか数十年なのかはモノにも、人にもよるだろうが、いずれにせよ熟すまでの時間が必要だということだ。

ごく普通に考えても、バケツの中にあるモノを外に出し続けるだけならば、すぐにバケツは空になる。「断捨離中」なら嬉しいが、それが精神的なモノであっても、出し続けていればいずれは空になる。「競争に打ち勝つ」ための「発信力」が強調されがちな昨今、有り余る内容を持っている人や会社、事業体などはいいが、特に何もない人、ところだと、発信する内容を「泥縄的に」作りながらやらなくてはならないこともあるのではなかろうか（「泥縄」なんて、すでに死語ではあるまいか？泥棒を捕まえてから（縛るための縄をなう）という、「準備不足」を戒める言葉。念のため）。

わたし自身が、ずっと前から「これじゃ泥縄だな」と感じていた。インプットとアウトプットの間隔が「即」なだけではなく、逆になるほうが多くなってきたからである。―「青いカモメ絵画教室」のNさんの習作「石１」～「石３」を見ると、Nさんが「インプット」している様子がビンビン伝わってくる。情報を仕入れるだけがインプットではなく、それを自分の中で揉み込み、発酵させているのがよく解る。「発信」が目的ではなく、結果であるという王道の歩みかたを見てほしい。Nさんの「石」はすでにかれこれ数年に亙る。
