宇佐美圭司（参考作品）東京大学の学生食堂（安田講堂地下）にあった、宇佐美圭司の大作（4×4m）を生協が捨ててしまった（廃棄処分）ということで、各方面から呆れられている。
この大作は、東大生協創立30周年記念ということで、生協自らが宇佐美氏に制作を依頼したものらしい。
大学構内の施設改修で食堂も移転することになり、作品をどうするかが当然議題の一つになった。but、結局のところ所有者である、大学生協側が面倒くさくなってポイした、That's what it means。移転や保存の方法について専門家に相談するでもなく、（密かに）廃棄したというやり方に彼らの美的価値観が表れている。「つまらない絵だ」と思っていた、That's what it means。
