For me、What is the goal of the art? I still haven't set the goal。That's because、For me, the goal is beyond all productions.、Still like the light of a lighthouse from afar、Because you can only see the light from time to time。However、I'm just walking around with a sense of perspective that it's in that direction。A road appears on the way、Go up and down the hill、Sometimes I get lost in bushes with no paths。At that time、If you stand on a slightly higher position, you can see your next "goal"。Next, the goal is to "change the way you think about lines" and "think about the relationship between lines and colors."。

But、1A painting requires a certain amount of goal、Of course, there is an image of the goal in that sense.。The theme of this picture (but not limited to) is "The punching power of expression."。「優しい」「気持ちのいい」表現とは少し距離を置こうとしている。もっと破壊的、前衛的な表現もあるが、それは今のわたしには厳しい。ボクシングでいえば、リング自体を破壊するような表現ではなく、とりあえずリングの中で対戦する。Punching power in that sense。Jab is a "strong line"、Body blow is a "single color"、Counter punches are "unpainted"。"The technique of not painting"、The hardest for me so far。

2020年にいったん完成させた作品に加筆したもの。加筆箇所はほぼアウトラインのみ。前はウルトラマリンの細い線だった。何となく納得できないまま、ほぼ1年放ったらかしになっていたが、昨日ふっと「アウトラインの細さが、存在感の無さにつながっているのではないか」と思いついた。

同じウルトラマリンで太くしてみたが、効果が弱いと感じたので思い切って黒を混ぜてみた。線の端が必要なラインからはみ出すのは、一度筆を止めた直後に無造作に再び筆を置く癖のため。水彩の時はそれでリズムをとることもあり、必ずしも悪い癖とも言い切れないが注意が必要だ。Oh dear、試験的な作品だからいいとしておく。

黒という絵の具は、艶があると締まった深い感じを与えるが、艶が無いと灰色に見えてしまう。水彩の場合はアクリル板を使うと黒がすごく良く見えるのはこの「艶」の効果。ここでも黒だけは艶を出してみた。「ガラスのApple」という題にしたが、そんな感じは出ただろうか。

「夏の夜のベランダ」というテーマでの2枚のエスキース。１では植物がど真ん中過ぎると感じて、2で右に寄せてみた。

配色のせいもあるが、なんだか人物が隠れ、植物が前面に出ている１の方がいい感じに思える。2では「ベランダにいる人物、植物はたまたまベランダにある」という内容だが、1では「ベランダで夜景を楽しんでいる植物、そこへたまたま人間が入り込んできた（チェッ、邪魔なやつ）」という感じで、明らかに主役が入れ替わる。

もちろん１より２の方があと。時間が経ち、ある意味冷静になったぶん、常識的になったともいえる。あとの方が良くなるとは限らない。１は絵画上での「擬人法」のようでもあり、interesting。
