絵画の話。昨日のブログに載せた絵を例にすると、上の画像のように「T」の構図を意図的に作っている。Tの縦の棒を左右にずらす構図もよく使う。わたしの好きな構図の一つである。

なぜこんな構図が好きなのかをちょっと考えてみると、わたしのへそ曲がり具合が反映されているらしいことはすぐわかる。in a sense、構図はその人の性格や考え方、感じ方も暴露してしまうのかもしれない。

T という字形は不安定である。それを好むということは、不安定を好むということでもある。わたしは“抵抗分子”かも？絵画でも、まずは「安定した構図」を基本とする。初めから不安定なのは、基本を知らないか、（身体の）どこか悪い可能性がある。安定構図の代表は「山」または△（三角形構図）と呼ばれる“どっしり”型。山の頂上、三角形の頂点を少しずらし、ほんの少し動きを加えて使うのがオーソドックスなやり方だ。

Tや▽の構図は不安定感そのものが目を引く。that's why、モチーフもそれにふさわしいものが選ばれやすい。それがここでは“超”保守的なモチーフを描いているぶん、二重に反抗的だろう。そういうへそ曲がりさがこの構図に見えている―そしてこのような感覚はあらゆる世界に広がっている―こんなふうにわたしは絵を見ているのです。

　

先日紹介した「藤澤伸介個展」への追加。前回のブログでは「画家としての藤沢伸介」にはスペースの都合で触れなかったが、わたしだけでなく多くの絵を描く人にとって示唆に富むと思い、以前からそのことについて書く必要を感じていた。

①彼の個展案内状はいつも手描きふうだ。地図も手描きであることの方が多い。たくさんの画家からたくさんの個展案内状を頂くが、描くのが仕事であり、描くのが何より好きなはずの画家たちからの、このようなものはほとんどない（わたしがする場合も含めて）。「絵を描くのが好きだよ、楽しいよ」と、案内状で最も大切な内容をこれ一枚できっちり示している。読むのではなく見る案内状であり、まず第一歩からして絵画的だ。

②絵はキャンバスに描くものと思いこんでいる人はさすがにもういないだろうが、浜辺の砂に描いた絵だって、空中に指先で描いた絵だって絵なのだから、これは当然過ぎるくらい歴然とした「絵画」形式。But、そういう理屈は置いといて、この、一見「子どもの切り紙」ふうの「見せ方」が、じつは彼の隠された自信、タダ者じゃないとわたしは感じる。「現代絵画」はよく解らない、と多くの画家や評論家たちでさえ内心は感じていると思うけれど、この簡潔な表現そのものがまさにそれではないだろうか。画廊を出て、一歩街へ出てみるとそれがわかる。

③（文才があれば）この絵一枚で一片の小説が書けるハズ。ここには彼の作家としてのこれまでの人生が（軽々しく言ってはいけない言葉だと思うけど）詰まっている。中央のカエルに描かれた色や線は、カエルのかたちにカッティングされる前に施されている。つまり、カエルのかたちになるかどうかすら分からない時点で塗られた色、線だ。それを最終的にカッティングして、こんなかたちに「なりました」って、偶然と必然を一瞬で融合させるその凄さが、わたしの想像を超えるんです。そしてそれこそ「絵というもの」だと、わたしの胸は震えるんです。

Many artists (I don't like to call them that)、It also refers to people who never let go of the scissors and shovels they had in their childhood.。Even if it looks like just a tool、I got used to it over the years、If you hone your skills, they will transform into incredible weapons.。Or rather、reveals its true form。That's Fujisawa's cutter.。
