雨の盆とマスクラット

今年は腰痛のため、お盆の下北へは行けなかった。行かない連絡をしてからずっと涼しく、夕方から夜にかけては雨になることも多い。猛暑を覚悟していたのでその点ではありがたい。

Nevertheless、腰痛でせっかくの涼しさを活かせない。何となくゴロゴロし、何となくパソコンでデスクワーク？坐りっ放しではいけないと、自転車で散歩していたら、また例の「泳ぐ巨大ネズミ？」を見た。

今回は少し詳しく調べてみると、どうも「マスクラット」という、北米原産の沼地のネズミに間違いないようだ。戦前パイロットの帽子用の毛皮を取るために養殖されていたが、戦後、需要が減って放たれたのが野生化し、現在は東京、神奈川、埼玉、千葉で繁殖しているらしい。特定外来生物に指定されている。

 

「丸ガニ」…

I ate "round crab" (produced in Miyagi prefecture)。It tastes nostalgic though、Is it a shame?、All of them are still young crabs.、The taste was also immature.。If you're alive、It's the size I want to miss.。

I recently wrote about "crab fishing" on my blog.、About this crab。In my house, it's called Hiragani (perhaps because its hind legs are flat).。Because the dimple on the back looks like an “H”、The kids even called me naughty crab on purpose.。
