今月は一年の三分の二に当たる大事な月、しかも初日。なのに買い物とかなんとか(雑用ではないが）「家事」も忙しい。描こうとして買った桃を、冷蔵庫から出してきたのがもう夜の10時。この時刻から桃を描く。描かないと、今日が終われない。

ウーバーイーツという宅配便があることは知っていた。But、利用したことはなく、イーツという名前から、ほぼ食べ物、ピザの配達と似たようなものかなと思っていた。

However、どうもそれはいわば「便利屋さん」と宅配便がくっついたようなものらしい。例えば宅配のピザ屋さんにピザをを頼めば直接持ってきてくれるが、ウーバーイーツに頼めばそのピザ屋さんに行って、そこから持ってきてくれるというものらしい。コンビニから何かを買ってきてくれと頼めば（手配は自分でするのが基本らしいが）、コンピニに寄って買ってきてくれるというわけだ。

なんとなく落語にも似たような噺があるから、江戸時代には既に同じようなことを考えた人はいたことになる。それの現代版というところだろうか。Maybe、わたしのような人は江戸時代においてさえすでに時代遅れだったのかもしれない。
　お年寄りには縁が無さそうだと思ったら、逆によく利用されているのだという。確かに移動手段の限られた高齢者では、日々の買い物さえひと仕事である。特にこの夏場などでは飲料水の補充は不可欠だが、食品類の中では水が一番の重量物だ。それを一箱（12リットル≒12kg）買って運んできてもらうのに利用しているというのである。お年寄りは賢い！現代のツールをちゃんと利用できているじゃないか！

パリ・オリンピックが始まった。スケートボードやバイクの得点ルールをやっと知ったが、要は興味がなかったということ。好奇心が欠けたところに無知がはびこる。「取り残され感」が募るばかり。
