木立ベゴニアによるエスキース3連発。見ればわかるが、木立ベゴニアはどれも同じスケッチから。あまり混み合っていないものを選んで、背景をいろいろ替えてみることにした。
我が家の木立ベゴニアはこの暑さで少しへばり気味。代わって「アマゾニカ（アマゾンサトイモ？）」が「超」元気。梅雨の前には鉢植えから姿を消し、死んでしまったかと思ったが、V字回復どころか「垂直上昇中！」。めちゃくちゃに元気ぶりを伝えてくれている。この暑さが大好きなんだな。次回はアマゾニカが主役だ。
やっと頭が通常モードになりつつある。暇になってきたということ。暇が大事。暇がないと何もできない。頑張って暇を作り、暇の中で一生懸命やりたい、なんて贅沢かね。

廃校の土乾きけり雲の峰
廃校の一教室を絵画の制作場としていたころの一句。子どもたちの歓声と汗を吸い込んでいたグラウンドの土も、廃校になってすっかり乾いてしまった。遠くに積乱雲が湧き立ち、雄大な雲の峰となっている―「雲の峰」は夏の季語を代表するものの一つ。
