今年2022こそ、「風景」をまじめに描くつもり。まじめに、というのは写実的にという意味ではなく、正面のテーマに据えてみようということ。スケッチではなく、「自分の絵」にしてみるということ。

自分の絵と言ったってピンとこないが、まあ少しずつ自己満足と独自性の度合いが高まればいい。そのための「エスキース」第一歩。スケッチのように、見たままを描くわけではないから、どうしてもエスキースが要る。

Appleの流れで考える。まずは背景を「風景らしく」という一番手っ取り早いところから始める。そしてなるべく手を動かすことにしよう。何でもかんでもコロナにかこつけて少し消極的になり過ぎてしまったかも。

オミクロンが大流行しつつある。しかもその中のさらに感染力が強いとされるBA2がもうすぐ主流になりそうだ。こもっていても感染すると言われるくらいだから、正直言ってもう防ぎようがない感じ。さいわい、ワクチンで重症化を防ぐ効果と、他者への感染を低減する効果はあるらしいから、それに期待して、かつ自分のやりたいことはやることにしようと思う。
