前回の「国際捕鯨委員会CWEからの日本の脱退」と繋がる話題。日本（政府）はこの「Animal welfare」を、私のような感覚で捉えているのではないかと想像する。相手はキリスト教的「動物愛護」の国内、世界世論に配慮しているのだと考えなければならない。数値的な正確さを言い募れば募るほど、お互いの距離は開いていく。「モリを撃ち込まれたら、痛くて、苦しいだろう？その痛みが分からないのか？」と彼等は考えているのに、鯨の頭数の回復だけを、口を酸っぱくして言っても、最初から平行線だということが解っていないのではないか。First、彼らの「Animal welfare」を謙虚に理解してみることが、大切かと思う。
