Some "Man from the Shelter"。The first "Man in the Shelter"、Like a breakwater、It was crouching behind a concrete wall。hand、Around the legs、I know it's the head、Does that hand have something、Are you drawing a cross-legged?、Are you throwing your legs out?、I can feel something that looks like a face、It's not clear which direction it's facing。That was the first work (Fall 2010)。

Eventually the shelter began to encapsulate.。Capsules protect you from the outside world、Or to be isolated from others、I don't know how the strong man in the capsule feels.。

I wrote "man"、It's not clear if she's actually a woman。Either way、It doesn't seem very charming、It has a human shape but、It feels a bit like a wild animal。given that、This capsule may actually be a "cage" rather than a capsule.。Has someone locked it up?。

About 30 years ago、I remembered that I was drawing a series called "Cage."。

There was a dog that didn't eat meat。

It's a bone-eating dog、Rather, it's a dog that has only eaten bones。

originally、Dogs are meat-loving animals。Even though we eat bones and meat together、No dog eats bones by baking meat。

This dog is、Poor、I've never eaten meat。The slightly dried fleshed bones、この犬の最大のごちそうであった。かすかな肉の匂いと、歯にこすれ、唾液に溶けだした薄い肉の味のする骨が、この犬の大好物であった。

時々は、すこし多めに肉がこびりついていることもあり、そんな時犬は躍り上がって喜んだ。「なんてうまい骨なんだ！今日はついてるぞ」。普段は、骨にすらありつけない犬は、乾ききった、パサパサの骨ですら、見つけるたびにしゃぶるように、惜しみながら喰うのだった。

長い時間が過ぎたある日、肉の塊が犬の目の前に落ちていた。肉屋が紙に包んでくれた肉を袋に入れたおばあさんは、その袋に穴があいているのに気がつかなかったのだ。　　　　　　　　　　　　　「これは何だろう？随分うまそうなにおいがするが、食べたことのないものだ。こんなものを食べて腹を壊したら大変だ。この間も腐りかけた残飯を食べてひどい目にあったからな」。

but、目の前の新鮮な肉からは、とてもいい匂いがする。犬は思わず叫んだ。「ああっ！これが骨だったらなあ！」

犬は誘惑から逃れるように、急いで走り去った。

魚を喰わない猫がいた。ホウレン草が好きで、なぜか、特にその赤い根の部分が大好きである。奥さんが買ってきたまま台所に置いてある、まだビニールの袋に入ったままのホウレン草を見つけると、喉を鳴らしながら顔をすり寄せ、体をくねらせながらホウレン草の匂いを楽しむのだった。

やがて鋭い爪で袋を破り、ホウレン草を引っ張り出す。好物の赤い根を横に咥えながら、シャリシャリと齧り始める。

奥さまは、ホウレン草のおひたしが大好きである。
