制作中

先月25日から、少し進めました。少し落ち着いてきたぶん、躍動感もなくなってきたかもしれません。描くことの難しさより、そういう意思や気分を維持し続けることの方が難しいんですよね。一歩進めば、一歩先の風景が変わっていく。それにつれて自分の感覚も反応する。それでも何かを繋いでいくのが制作、Wonder。

セピア色のペンで小さめのスケッチブックに描いてみた。下の人物スケッチは右手の肘から手にかけて修正してある。“修正” といってもペンだから消すことはできないので、単純に描き加えるだけ。こういう楽しいスケッチなら、毎日100枚は描けると思うね（最近スケッチブックが高価だから、経済的に無理かもだけど？）。

それを“失敗” しちゃった～と感じるかどうかは、見る人次第。作者であるわたしとしては、「右手を二つも描いて、サービスし過ぎかな？」と思う。考えてみたら「千手観音」の千本の手って、なんと豪勢なサービスなんでしょう！そりゃあ、信者も集まるよね！

セピア色のスケッチには色は着けない方が似合う（気がする）。もちろん個人的な好みの問題ですが。The picture above is、現在のベニスの写真をネットから探し、それを縮尺やサイズをを変えたりして描いてみたもの。セピア色というだけで、レトロチックな感じがして、わたしは好き。「古臭い」と、あえて「臭い」とつけたい人もいるでしょうが、それも否定はしません。そういうリアクションがあるだけマシですから。
