水彩と水性絵の具

世界中の蜘蛛が一年間に獲物にする昆虫の量は年間4〜8億トンにもなり、これはいま生きている人間（70億人を越えた！）が年間に消費する魚と肉の量に匹敵するそうだ。

蜘蛛以外の昆虫も、鳥も魚も、他の多くの動物も昆虫という餌を食べることから逆算すると、一年間に発生する昆虫の量はどれほどになるか想像もつかない。昆虫の餌の相当部分は植物だろうから、そこから食物連鎖というシステムに沿って消費エネルギーを逆算していくと、我らの地球をミラクル（奇跡）と呼ぶ以外にない。

本題。水性絵の具で水彩のように描くのは、実は難しい。ある意味では油絵の具で水彩のように描くよりも。今年はこれがテーマになりそうな気がする。
