不勉強の言いわけ

「少年老いやすく学成り難し」とは「論語」にある言葉だそうだ。無学無教養を恥ずかしく思いつつも、だからと言って特に努力もしなかった。

そもそも「勉強」の意味がよく解らなかった。論語でいう「学」も、所詮は処世術ではないか、という意識が強かった。今も不勉強の言いわけに使っている。

 

詳しく知っている

自分が詳しく知っていることを他人に説明する時、いわゆる「上から目線」になって、押しつけてしまうことが多い。反省しても、すぐに忘れて同じことを繰り返す。

もう少し踏み込んで考えると、「詳しく知っている」ことの中身も、そう大した違いはない。that's why、押しつける必要など実は何にもないのだった。
