やれやれ、やっと今日の課題提出だ

今日の課題は、「マスクレイヤー」と「クリッピング・マスク」の復習。パソコンで絵を描いたりしない人には何のことかわからない単語だと思うが、やっているわたし自身もまだよくわかっていないので、わかりやすい説明などは無理。描画アプリの中にそういうツール（道具）があって、それを使えばこんな効果になる、とだけ言っておこう。

一つのテーマを決め、参考になる動画を探して真似をするのが目下の勉強法。After that、その応用課題を（できればその日のうちに）作ってみるのが目標。それがなかなかできないばかりか、そもそも動画をちゃんと見ることさえ出来ていないことが分かってきた。

もちろんYouTube などにある動画のほとんどは編集されたもので、映像のコマとナレーションが合っていなかったり、見たいところが早送りされていたりして困る時もあるが、Above all、あまりにも自分の知識が無いために、現実に目の前に見えているのに「見えていない（意識されない）」のである。repeat over and over again、しっかり見たはずの動画を後日改めて見ると、あれっ？こんなカットあったのかぁ、などとがっかりすること多々。

1年前の動画だと、もうツールの機能までガラッと変わっていることもある。まさに「日進月歩」。一つを覚える前に次の次までできているという按配で、ため息をつき始めると果てがない。「コンピューターを使いこなせる人などいない」「せいぜい特定の分野だけ、なんとか追いついていける人がいるだけだ」という人がいるが、きっとそうだろう。たくさん覚えるのはもう無理だとしても、もうちょっと分かれば、もうちょっと面白い発想ができるかもと、かすかな期待はあるが。
