下北のウニの解禁日の様子。下北半島の海岸といってもなかなか広く、海岸の環境もかなりの違いがある。太平洋岸、津軽海峡側、陸奥湾側、砂浜、砂混じりの岩場、磯、断崖絶壁、波の荒い海、穏やかな海といった具合。これは太平洋岸の白糠（しらぬか）という集落の前海。砂浜と断崖の間の磯という環境。

ここの海は女性や子供でも（体力的な意味で）ウニを採ることが出来る海だ（漁業権がないと採集できないことは他の地域と同じ）。過去には膝までの裾まくりで採れた時代があったという。さすがに今では裾まくり程度では採れないだろうが、ごらんのように腰まで程度の深さ（１ｍ位）なら、今でも十分に採集可能だ。沖を見ると、ウェットスーツに素潜りで採る人もいる。こちらはかなり体力が要る。さらに沖なら舟で採る。

ここのウニの味は抜群。下北の中でも１、２を争う味の良さだ。日本全体としてウニはやはり南より北の方が美味いが（世界的にもそのようだ）、同じ下北でも磯の環境、潮の流れ等の影響で結構ばらつきがあるらしい。利尻島のウニがここの味とよく似ていたような気がする。日本人のように生のウニを食べる国、地域は世界的に見て、どうも多くはないようだ（「ウニの身」という言い方を見たり、聞いたりしたことがあるが、食べる部分は正しくは身ではなく卵である。お盆前後の時期に受精が始まり、殻の中にミルクのような精子が見られるようになる。Dende a perspectiva da conservación dos recursos、この時期に採集を解禁するのは将来的に問題がある）。

食べ方としては生食以外に、海外では焼いたり、ソースにしたり、生地に混ぜてパンやケーキのようにして食べるようだ。ウニをベースにアワビやホタテなどを十年物のぶ厚いホタテ貝に入れ、味噌仕立ての卵とじにした「味噌貝焼き（みそかやき）」は一度食べてみる価値が有るだろう。世界全体でみるとウニを食べる人口はかなり少ないようだが、ウニ好きから見れば、あまり流行しない方が有難い。クロマグロのように、需要が増せば、そのうち食べられなくなってしまうに違いない。

ウニは雑食性で、海藻だけでなく魚などの死骸も食べるらしい。しかし基本的には豊かな海藻が無ければウニは育たない。豊かな海藻はきれいな海が無ければ生育しない。つまり海の自然環境を良くすることが、（当然のことだが）安全で美味しいウニを頂くことにつながるということだ。

Our poor conciousness have an illusion that we identify ratification with our free will. So that means a catarpillar as same as human from the viewpoint of have not a will either.
